Dear Friends and Family of LifePoint Community Church,
Merry Christmas! We pray that you and your family are doing well as we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, our Lord Jesus Christ. We are writing this letter to share the great things God is doing here in Miamisburg and to invite you to join with us to celebrate the coming of our Savior. In the Gospel of John we read, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) We celebrate that Jesus has entered the world to bring salvation and the favor of God to people everywhere!
As we are gathering for the holidays this year, they will be especially meaningful for us here at LifePoint as God is leading us toward a new and exciting journey. In November the voting members of LifePoint made a unanimous decision that, as of January 2023, LifePoint Community Church will be closing to give birth to a new non-denominational church. We are excited about the future of God’s work here in Miamisburg, even as we see a closure to what God started in 2011.
With these changes coming, we want to invite you to join us for our last few gatherings as the family of LifePoint Community Church. We also invite you to pray about joining us in the New Year! In 2023 we will continue to gather for Bible studies, discipleship, and fellowship events as we prepare for the new church plant God is bringing here to Miamisburg.
LifePoint’s last three gatherings will include…
- Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service: December 24th @ 7:00pm
- Christmas Day Worship Celebration: December 25th @ Noon
- New Years Eve Party and Game Night: December 31st @ 7:00pm through Midnight
