Teaching Pastor Brad Herbst & wife Jessica
In 2010, Brad and his family moved to the Miamisburg area to begin a new church work. With a heart for the lost and a passion for those in need of grace, Brad has been bringing the Word of God to the church family at LifePoint and the Miamisburg community since our very first bible study, which was held in the Herbst’s living room in 2011.
Brad is a graduate of Liberty University and was ordained for Christian ministry in 2002. He and Jessica have been married since 1996 and have four children, plus two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and their first granddaughter was born in 2021. Brad enjoys hunting, reading books, painting, playing games, playing bass and acoustic guitar, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Jessica is the director of our children’s ministries. With over 20 years of experience in this area of ministry, she has led our own young people here at LifePoint since these ministries began in 2012. Jessica loves working hands on with kids, interacting with youth, and watching them all grow in their knowledge and love for Jesus. Jessica’s work with children spans beyond her ministry here at LifePoint; she holds a masters degree in psychology and is a Behavior Analyst, specializing in ABA therapy at a local nonprofit.

Worship Pastor Jimmy Sercu & wife Stephanie
Jimmy and Stephanie joined the LifePoint family in 2011 when it was still a small group Bible study. Within a matter of months, God made it clear that Jimmy was the answer to many prayers over who would lead the worship ministry at LifePoint. Jimmy was ordained for Christian ministry by the members and leadership of LifePoint in 2017.
Jimmy is a graduate of Liberty University and is currently pursuing his masters degree. He and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2009 and have two sons. Jimmy enjoys building and creating new things, playing games, and spending time with his family.
Stephanie oversees fellowship ministries at LifePoint, but her passion is in leading our ladies ministries. She genuinely loves spending time with other women of God, mentoring new believers and helping other women to understand what it means to be a Christian. She also loves worship ministry and enjoys serving alongside Jimmy in his calling. Outside of her work at LifePoint, Stephanie is the Marketing Administrator for Miamisburg Parks and Recreation. She also enjoys freelance design work and constructing crafting projects. Stephanie has a degree in fashion design from the University of Cincinnati.
